The competition was a tremendous success, with numerous high-quality and innovative submissions. Our winner will co-create the design of the professional Ranger vehicle wrap, proudly displayed on one of GLALC's Ranger vehicles at Heathcote Ridge. They will also receive a cultural arts or graphic design course, coaching sessions with the GLALC Brand Central Design Team, and an iPad Pro 12.9 Inch WiFi 128GB.
"There are two artworks both representing our connection to the rivers and the land along the George’s River. Coming from the sea and making connection all the way to Liverpool. There are meeting sites across the artwork representing people and heritage and history that is still here after so many years." Jarrod Wicks.
Let's delve into the amazing rewards that await the top participants of this remarkable competition.
This fantastic opportunity was made possible thanks to funding from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs NSW, under the Community & Place Grants. It will support local impact, connect our community members with the broader community, and contribute to the rehabilitation and conservation of over 850 hectares of protected and threatened Aboriginal Land across Heathcote Ridge.
We take great pride in our protective care and guardianship of the land, and the Ranger vehicle will play a vital role in our restoration efforts. Stay tuned for the final version of the Ranger Vehicle Wrap - coming soon!
