Members & Community

Gandangara is an independent, statutory organisation representing our Aboriginal members and community. We have a large,  growing membership of over 700 Aboriginal people from all across Australia.

Our main objective, for each of our Members, is to improve and protect their social and emotional well-being, by creating a meaningful connection between us, based on mutual respect and understanding. We also work hard at building a closer, healthier and stronger community through a range of services, regular open communication, public meetings, and information sharing. Just as importantly, we provide a culturally safe place for our Members to come together to yarn, connect and feel they belong.

Gandangara Local Aboriginal Land Council (GLALC) acknowledges the Cabrogal People of the Darug Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land we span. We pay our respects to the Elders, Past, Present, and Emerging and to all First Peoples within our community. Code of Conduct: You are welcome to link to articles on this site.
